Get help menu

The Get Help menu is available in the AppsAnywhere admin panel to provide quick access to information about your AppsAnywhere environment and ways to access product help and support.

General help

The General help section in the Help menu provides quick access to product documentation, our knowledge base and access to the Customer Hub - a central place for accessing resources which you will find useful.

Support requests

The Support requests tab in the Help menu provides quick access to open a support ticket or search our knowledge base.

About

The Help menu is how you get to the About page, which lists useful information about your installation of AppsAnywhere including:

  • Version: The main version of AppsAnywhere you are running on.

  • Instance ID and Organisation ID: These are unique identifiers for your AppsAnywhere system and may be requested by our support teams to aid with troubleshooting.

  • NEW Patches: A list of installed AppsAnywhere software patches.

Audit trail

The Audit trail is a log of administrator actions/changes on your AppsAnywhere system, including:

  • Date and time: When the change occurred.

  • Type: The type of item that was changed.

  • ID: The unique ID of the item that was changed.

  • Name: Details of what was changed.

  • Action performed: The action that occurred (e.g. create, update, delete)

  • Performed by: The administrative user who made the change.

The audit log can be configured to remove entries after a given amount of time. SeeGeneral Settings | Remove-Audit-Records-After... for more details on how to configure this time window.
