Deployment to Microsoft Azure
Overview
The AppsAnywhere virtual appliance is available in multiple formats. If you are deploying to Azure then an Azure VHD format appliance image is provided.
A note on networking
Important: Azure/AWS Networking
This step should be skipped when deploying to Azure or AWS. The appliance images provided are pre-configured with DHCP enabled and networking configuration/IP address assignment is done entirely via the configuration options provided by the cloud provider.
Deploying the image
Follow the Azure guidance to upload the image and deploy the required virtual machines using this image:
It is recommended to use the Standard_F4s_v2 Azure instance size for the AppsAnywhere virtual machines.
Currently the Azure DS v5 instance sizes are unsupported by the AppsAnywhere v3.1 and later appliance.
