Support for targeting Windows 8.1 and older / Windows Server 2012 R2 and older
Deprecated in AppsAnywhere 3.4
Support for targeting Windows 8.1 and older, and Windows Server 2012 R2 and older via OS compatibility is deprecated and will be removed in a future release.
Note: AppsAnywhere Windows client and Cloudpaging Player 9.6 and above have already dropped support for Windows 8.1 and older.
Support for targeting unsupported macOS, Android, iOS, iPadOS versions

Support for targeting older and vendor unsupported macOS, Android, iOS, and iPadOS versions via OS compatibility is deprecated and will be removed in a future release.
Token and External Service SSO methods are deprecated
Deprecated in AppsAnywhere 3.2
The Token and External Service SSO methods are deprecated and will be removed in AppsAnywhere 3.6.
This removal was previously announced for AppsAnywhere 3.3 but has been moved to 3.5.
Customers using these SSO methods are are encouraged to migrate to modern standards-based alternatives such as SAML 2.0.
AppsAnywhere Windows Client 2.7
Support for 32-bit versions of Windows 10 is deprecated
Deprecated in AppsAnywhere Windows Client 2.5
Support for 32-bit versions of Windows 10 is deprecated and will be removed in AppsAnywhere Windows client 2.7.
AppsAnywhere Windows Client 2.6.0 and above will support only the following Windows versions:
Windows 11 (64-bit)
Windows 11 (arm64)
Windows 10 (64-bit)

Shortcut management is no longer enabled by default for new installations
It will remain enabled by default for existing installations.

Due to a number of factors, we are planning to remove the ability to create new shortcuts using the Shortcut Management feature for new customers.
Please note that we had previously advised this would be removed entirely in AppsAnywhere 3.2 but we have chosen to delay this change to release further down the line; version number TBC.

Apache Cosign and Apache Custom SSO methods have been removed

The Apache Cosign project has been unmaintained since December 2021. Customers using Cosign are encouraged to migrate to modern alternatives such as SAML 2.0.
