Support for Cloud Delivery v3

This version of the client adds features that enable Cloud Delivery v3, the third generation of our solution for delivering Windows applications to users on any device.

Improvements include:

• An improved user experience during app launch.

• Support for on-demand applications from our app library.

• Support for preloaded applications from our app library.

• Support for Auto App Licensing (AAL).

• Support for application dependencies.

Support for Cloudpaging Player 9.6

Cloudpaging Player 9.6 is now supported. Additional considerations are required when deploying Cloudpaging Player 9.6 and above, please see the notes below.

Logging improvements

Improvements to logging to assist with efficient troubleshooting when things are not working as they should.

• Windows Application and System event logs are now included in support data bundles.

• Support data bundles now include a combined JSONL format log file, combining all logs into a single, searchable plaintext file to make it easier to follow the sequence of events during a failure.

Other improvements

• Reduced the frequency of API requests to get an AppsAnywhere base URL from the AppsAnywhere Central API.

Deprecations & Removals

Support for 32-bit versions of Windows 10 is deprecated

Support for 32-bit versions of Windows 10 is deprecated and will be removed in a future release. Older versions of Windows are not supported.

Fixes

• AAWIN-265 - Misleading "Failed to retrieve app guid from license guid" error logged during all Cloudpaging launches

• AAWIN-446 - Errors are logged during support data collection when a 3rd party client is not installed

• AAWIN-206 - Client does not run correctly when installed to non-default location

• AAWIN-393 - Windows client UI glitches whenever a browser request causes the client to startup
